It’s been three weeks. Three weeks since I left for Spain. Three weeks to have made a list about all the things I took for granted while still living in America. Three weeks to think about how I will do my best to not take them for granted again. And so, a list of all the things I didn’t appreciate enough while I had them.
Riding in the car. A permanent address. A dryer. Familiar routines. The ease of paying with a credit card. Drinking water from the tap. Living with my family. Organization. A cell phone plan with seemingly limitless data. Friends to go for walks with. Coffee with cream and brewing it at home. Workout classes. A printer. Marveling in the changing of the leaves.
